The Origin of Fried Rice (History)

 Fried rice is believed to have originated from China. The first recorded fried rice in history came from the Sui Dynasty (589 – 618).

  The typical Chinese frying technique has been around since the beginning, but only became popular and was used by many cooks at the end of the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644). Historians believe that fried rice was originally made to use up leftovers. In southern China, people at that time preferred to eat unseasoned white rice. Then combined with meat and vegetables. several variants, the most popular being the Yangzhou and Sichuan versions.

After Chinese people started to migrate, fried rice eventually spread,
especially to East Asia and of course Southeast Asia, including Indonesia.
 If there is leftover food that is still in good condition, they mix it into fried rice.
Of course, add spices such as fried onions and sweet soy sauce. 
 The most standard Chinese fried rice recipe uses white rice, meat, vegetables, sweet soy sauce and garlic.
